Fine Silver Beads measuring approximately 2.4 x 2.4 x 3.5mm, with an inner hole measuring 0.9 – 1.1mm. Pack of approximately 35 beads.
These beads feature a traditional Thai symbol that repeats in many Karen Hilltribe designs. The circle surrounded by 6 other circles of the same shape symbolizes the 7 chakras. It is often labelled as ‘flower print’ by foreigners, though locals know it simply as ‘pod duang’. Pod Duang is also the word for bullet coins, an ancient Siamese currency made of pure silver that uses this symbol.
Shiana Fine Silver is pure, (.999) silver produced under fair trade regulations by a group of Karen Hill Tribe villagers in Northern Thailand. Our products are carefully handcrafted in small batches. No two pieces will ever be exactly alike.
